Adding music to one or all slides in PowerPoint 2007:

PowerPoint 2007 supports music files in .mp3 and .wav formats.

  • Select the slide you want to add music to
  • Click the Insert tab on the Ribbon
  • Click the Audio drop-down arrow in the Media group
  • Choose Audio from File
  • Locate and select your music file, then click Insert
  • The music icon will appear on your slide
  • To hear the music, click the icon and then click Play/Pause. The music will play across all slides in your presentation

 

To add music to all slides:

Click the Insert tab on the Ribbon

Click the Audio drop-down arrow in the Media group

Choose Audio from File

Locate and select your music file, then click Insert

Check the “Play across slides” box

The music icon will appear on your slide
