What you read in this article

Greek letters (such as Alpha, Beta, etc.) are an essential part of most of the functions in Mathematics and Science so, there is good reason to familiarize yourself with these letters even if you don’t plan to learn Greek. Not only this, but some books in English also used to be numbered with Greek Letters in the past.

Now, the concern is how can you insert a Greek Letter with an English keyboard while creating your presentation in Google Slides.

Google Slides also allows you to use codepoints in the search box of the “Insert special characters” dialog box to search for your desired Greek letters. The article below will mention how to use them as well as insert preferred symbols.

So, let’s get started with this simple step-by-step guide to inserting Greek Letters in Google Slides!

Where are Greek Letters in Google Slides?

Greek letters are a great way to spice up your text boxes. You can find these special characters in the “Special Characters” dialog box under “Insert.”

  1. How to Insert Special Symbols in Google Slides?

Google Slides makes it easy to insert special symbols and characters. You can find this option in the “Insert” menu, under “Special Character.” To use all you need I.

Step-1: Click on the “Insert” tab

Clicking on “Special characters” from within that menu will open up a list of all available symbols. From this page, you can click to select what type of symbol and where in your text box it should go so be sure not only to use these special marks properly but also how much room is needed before hitting enter or clicking away!

Step 2: Select your preferred symbol

Click the “Special characters” option to add a symbol. Choose from search or draw symbols and enter them into the text box for a custom look! Click the x button when finished editing will close the dialogue box completely

How to Insert Greek Letters in Google Slides?

Google Slides allows for the use of special characters, such as Greek letters. The process is easy and requires just six steps!

Step 1: Click on the “Insert” menu

First, click on the text box where you want to insert Greek letters. Then click “Insert” at top of the menu bar and select Special characters from the dropdown list.

Step 2: Click on the “Symbol” box

When you click on the “Special characters” option from within your font list, a dialog box will appear allowing for easy customization. Clicking the symbol slot located at the bottom left corner enables users to add any custom character they need!

Step 3: Click on the “Other European Scripts” option

and click the “Special characters” option from within your font list, a dialog box will appear allowing for easy customization. Clicking the symbol slot located at the bottom left corner enables users to add any custom character they need!

Step 4: Click on the “Greek” option

Click on the box that says “Armenian”. A dropdown list will appear, click Greek in it, and voila!

Once you make these changes to your Google Sheets account language preferences everything should be working as normal again with one exception – when viewing older spreadsheets for editing purposes or searching through past work done on any given project there’s no need any more change languages since they’ll already reflect what was input before this new problem emerged (I hope).

Step 5: Select the preferred Greek Letter

To insert Greek letters into the selected text box, simply scroll through all of them or click on one that you want and it will be added to where ever there is space for an edit. If not enough room remains after adding your letter then type out its position using numbers 1-9 (in order) next to each other so they can fit properly again without having any extra white spaces around them when spelling something correctly!

Step-6: Click on the “x” icon

Click on the “x” icon to close this dialog box.

How to Write Alpha in Google Slides?

Google Slides allows you to easily insert the Greek letter “Alpha.” All it takes is four simple steps from your computer screen!

Step 1: Click on the “Insert” option

Click on the text box where you want to add an Alpha symbol. Click “Insert” from within this menu for a list of options that will appear below it, including all the different types available!

Step 2: Click on the “Special characters” option

Click the “Special characters” option under “Insert” to enable special character support. A dialogue box named ‘Insert Special Characthers’ will appear on your screen!

Step 3: Type “U+03B1” in the search box

To insert Alpha in Google Slides, type U+03B1 into the search box and click on it when you see this symbol.

The input for today’s assignment was to use special characters from a language that I do not know very well – Greek! So far my research has shown me how easy they are by looking up what each one means online but still find myself wondering if there’s something else out there that might be more useful than just giving me words with these letters…

Write a short sentence about how to insert the Pi symbol in the text.

-Click on any space where you see “pi” displayed, then click on it with your mouse cursor. This will bring up options for formatting and more importantly – transforming!

Step 2: Click on the “Special characters” option

Click on the “Special characters” option in the dropdown menu under “insert.” A dialog box will appear with various options for adding specialties to your documents, such as bold text or italics.

Step 3: Type “U+03C0” in the search box

The Google Slides app has a special character that you can’t find on any other platform. You have to type in 03C0 and it’ll bring up the pi symbol for easy insertion into your slides!

Step 4: Click on the “Pi” symbol

Finally, all you have to do is click on the “Pi” symbol in the “Insert special characters” dialog box to insert it into the selected text box. Then click on the “x” icon to close the dialog box.

Alternatively, you can press the “Alt + 227” keys on the numeric keypad of your keyboard to write “Pi” in a text box.
